Anna Simmons is an artist and music fan in the Portland scene. She is really into printmaking, illustration, and graphic design, and has loved having the opportunity to create so many posters for such awesome acts.

the banned book society

The Banned Book Society is an indie band out of the other Portland (yeah, the one in Oregon). This four-man group creates unforgettable tunes with eminently singable melodies. Banned Book Society's lyrics, most written by drummer Sam Weatherfield, convey all the excitement and pathos of being twenty-something in a post-postmodern age.
