Anna Simmons is an artist and music fan in the Portland scene. She is really into printmaking, illustration, and graphic design, and has loved having the opportunity to create so many posters for such awesome acts.

sven and the svenska kids

Called "the vikings of indie pop" by Paste Magazine, Sven and the Svenska Kids are currently touring behind their smash hit debut album, Valhalla Holiday. Their lush, clear sound and clever lyrics recall such classic albums as Paul Simon's Graceland, but with a decidedly Scandinavian feel. The epitome of Sven's Swede sound comes with his band's mix of contemporary and traditional instruments, including the nyckelharpa (keyed fiddle).
